It is GHA's goal to minimize the
confusion and hassle associated with resolving a patient's financial
obligations. GHA participates in most managed care plans in the Houston
area in order to minimize the financial burden on our patients. In
addition, GHA has developed, through its billing and management partner,
iMed Group, a sophisticated
computer and telephone system and knowledgeable and friendly staff to
work with patients and insurance companies to resolve all financial
matters as quickly and painlessly as possible.
- iMed Group obtains patient demographic and insurance information directly from the hospital. Because this information is not always accurate or up to date, we encourage patients to complete a GHA Patient Information Form immediately before or after surgery.
- Get an estimate of the anesthesia charge for an upcoming surgery or delivery, or verify that GHA participates a particular managed care plan by calling (713) 620-4040.
- Pay all or part of a patient account balance by calling (713) 620-4040 or completing the GHA Patient Payment Form.
- Send an email to the iMed Group staff about a particular billing issue
- COMING SOON - Using the password included on GHA statements, patients can access their GHA account on the web to check the status of insurance company payments, account adjustments, and remaining account balances.
