Ann Rhee, MD USAP Bio

I am a clinical anesthesiologist who likes to work with children and adults.  Anesthesiology is always challenging and interesting.  My father was an anesthesiologist who made me interested in this field of medicine.  I followed in his footsteps and I am very glad that I did.

I love to travel to different countries and experience different cultures and customs.  So far I have been to 42 countries and hope to visit many more.

Areas of Clinical Interest

I am interested in ERAS or early recovery after surgery protocols.  This protocol involves the surgeons and the anesthesiologists as well as the postoperative care team to work together to allow the patient to recover quickly with minimal anesthesia and maximum comfort.
