Joe Dimaggio said 'There is always some kid who may be seeing me for the first or last time, I owe him my best.' Even though I have done thousands of anesthetics, like Joe, I give my best each time.

Kevin Hughes, MD USAP Bio

I am a trained and certified pediatric anesthesiologist whose practice ranges from pediatric and adult open heart surgery to outpatient pediatric and adult surgery. I love to work with all patients and I have a tender spot in my heart for the kids. I strive to be compassionate, kind, and caring to all my patients. I have been trained well and strive to improve my skills everyday to provide unparalleled anesthesia services to all my patients.

I was born and raised in the Las Vegas valley. This is my home town and I am grateful to provide world class anesthesia care here in the middle of the desert. Viva Las Vegas!

Areas of Clinical Interest
I’m interested in providing in depth medical care to the most complex and sickest of patients. For example, in order to improve clinical care to pediatric congenital heart patients, I attend the weekly pediatric heart conference and the monthly case discussions where with the cardiologists, intensivists, and surgeons I participate in the discussion of the optimal care for each patient.
