About me:
I am a board-certified anesthesiologist who focuses on neuro anesthesia and regional/acute pain care medicine.  I have a special interest in caring for patients undergoing surgery for brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms, and movement disorder treatment.I also enjoy working in the orthopedic surgery arena, and addressing patients' pain relief needs both during and after surgery.  Outside of these specialties, I also practice general anesthesia and enjoy caring for a full spectrum of patients, young and old.

I was born and educated on the East Coast through college, at which time I moved west and have since lived in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Washington.  I am a true outdoor enthusiast, and you can usually find me in the mountains, either climbing or skiing, when I am not at work.  I also volunteer coach youth sports' teams, including soccer and lacrosse.

Areas of clinical interest
I am interested in researching different methods of controlling perioperative pain associated with major joint surgery.  I am interested in hospice/end of life care and palliative medicine.
